Re: Hi from Scotland

Your more than welcome, many a car, bike and even tractor club comes this way to Dufftown for a run.

The one recently was a group of Bentley's not the new stuff the old tourers, lovely to see so many all at once and being driven.

Re: P38 Auto Box

Thanks guys for the info BMW box on EBay my only concern is that the HP22 were rated between 100 - 380Nm of input torque the Gems 4.6 in stock did 380Nm and the later Thor pushed 407Nm. If my Gems is slightly modified it may kill the HP22 unless I get it uprated like Ashcroft can offer. Will PM you ...

Re: Range Rover P38 GEMS cooling system

The first time I looked at my thermostat on my P38 thought it was a bodge someone had done because it has two ears with holes for securing it down but on the P38 it just floats between the rubber hoses! I changed one and in all honesty not had temp issues but will say I added stuff called watter wet...

Re: Air suspension pneumatic tube

Like John just said the line is used on a lot of plant for air operated valves and the like plus you can cut out bad sections and using push fittings splice in repair sections if needed...Small tip give the pipe ends a little turn in a pencil sharpener it gives them a nice chamfer for pushing into t...

LPG is it on its was out?

Hi thought I would start a bit of a debate on LPG and how it feels like it's on its way out! I have LPG on my two P38's, my 300c Hemi and Jeep Cherokee now at one point you could get a grant to help with the cost of installation and conversion now it seems like you struggle to find a garage selling ...

Re: P38 Auto Box

P38 Auto Box

I plan on taking my P38's V8 out and swapping it to a rear wheel drive Scimitar but need some pointers on the box. The P38 has the ZF4HP Automatic that has the ecu and I know you can convert this auto to RWD only but then it needs a standalone control for the box...between the conversion of the box ...

Re: 3.9 - 4.6 options

I currently have two P38's both with the Gems engines and both have Tornado chip sets and run LPG, now I know lots of people think the later Thor V8's are better, can't comment on this but I can say both my Gems engines are rebuilt top hat lined units and apart from being thirsty are reliable with o...

Hi from Scotland

Hi new here so just thought I would do a quick introduction, bit of a petrol head love V-twin bikes with a Harley and Indian in the toy box.. and in the V8's I have a couple of P38's a V8 Defender and a 300c with the 5.7 Hemi V8...and an Essex V6 Scimitar that may just get the V8 treatment in the sh...
