What are these like? They have a little less porting but half the price and got vavles. I have new springs and lifters and collets in in my heads at moment., which could be transferes over.
Any experience with these?

Heads
I took a quick look last night at my options and I think that alloy heads are looking like a good option.
My budget is a bit of a concern but I feel that the cost of two alloy heads V's the restoration of whatever iron cast heads is going to use will nearly level out!

Drop in
Mike,
The engine is together and I plan to put it in frist and see how it is.
I'm a bit concerned with its weight and the effect this might have on the car.
I have been told that it is around 300bhp but I would be happy if it came near 250bhp.
If all goes well with the fittment, I will then ...

Thanks for that info, I will checkout that site.
The 3 speed was what came with the engine, but I don't plan for it to stay in it for too long, I was thinking of going manual with a T5.
Do you know if the 700r4 with fit the bell housing and shifter I have? As this may be a bettter option.

Mk1 Capri needs V8
Hello! This is my first post on this site, I was directed by the good people from www.capripower.co.uk.
I want to fit a Rover V8 to my Mk1 Capri and preferably a 4.6.
