Hi my 4.0 TVR struggles to get above 70 degrees driving. Can get to about 75 idling. I have fitted a new 82 thermostat but not helped. I very much doubt you have a couple of dodgy NGK plugs to be honest in over 28 years in the motor trade exclusively NGK I have only ever known of 2 faulty NGK plugs your spec RV8 wont overwhelm the wide heat range of a 6 quite frankly, I suggest you have a faulty HT lead or some other ign component...

what spark plugs do you use?
Im running 3.9 block with Crane fast road cam and 28cc 4.2 heads
Fuel injected Have chipped 45mm intake and 75mm throttle valve.
Currently using NGK BPR6ES
These are not very old but I think a couple are playing up

Thanks guys I bought Noid light to day all sockets pulsing but still got misfire.
New Dizzy coil leads plugs voltages correct on tps and afm . worse when hot and seems to be down on 6 cyls. going to check injectors next Oh new fuel pump too. getting to point of fitting carb grrr

Fitted OEM lucas Dizzy oil leak cured reckon the powerspark dizzys made in China or India You get what you pay for I guess

Hi I would first investigate why the oil is being pushed out, it sounds like the crank case is being pressurised, I suspect the old dissy was leaking enough crank case gas past the bearings so as not to allow things to pressurise enough to force the oil past the oil seal. look at the breathing syst...

I have replaced my dizzy with a powerspark only to now have a oil leak from the vent holes on underside of body. They sent me another one and its the same. The original dose not leak ???
