Where does 11:1 come from? I can’t get anywhere close to this with my calculations. The 13cc is for the 4.0 HC pistons, which gives me about 10.1:1 CR... 4.0 LC pistons come out at nearly the same as 4.6 HC pistons (actually a little more at about 23cc) So 4.0LC pistons would give a slightly lower C...

I had to apply the same fiddle factor to get the CR to match the spec too. But I measure the piston to block clearance at 1.7 or 1.8mm from memory... So, it’s 4.0 HC pistons ...

I have a 3.5 “flapper” Eli with a dud distributor and dodgy flapper valve.
Will the later dizzy off a Hotwire 3.9 physically fit this engine?

I will be using megasquirt so don’t need the advance curve to be right, just the spark distribution function of the distributor.
