Went to 3 motor factors today to get a flexi hose to connect to my sd1 slave cylinder-no luck. It has a 12mm 1.0 pitch thead which seemed to be the stumbling block. Any suggestions?

Got a linkage from a sherpa, not a v8 one tho. Looks like it will work as a mock up-it is very worn, gearstick is soooo long!!

How much do you think I could shorten it? I can get the welding done so no probs there
The pics I've seen of the sherpa one show the lever a lot further forward, maybe one extreme to another!!

Lt77 short gear linkage
I need to move the gear lever forward on my lt77, currently have a stock lt77 from a vitesse. Not exactly sure how much it will need moving but likely to be 3 inches of so
Could the existing one be shortened?
Otherwise what car/van will I need to get one from?
Thanks

Flywheel
I had a lightened flywheel on a previous car and liked the way it seemed to rev so freely.
Take the point about its age etc
Should I be thinking about a new flywheel?
What sort of company would carry out the crack testing, never had that done before
