Oil flow

Maybe a daft question but on the cylinder heads does the oil flow out of the front and rear pedestals or just the fronts?

Primed the oil 18 years ago with vasoline in the pump, filled the engine with oil today ,spun the oil pump drive and bingo good oil pressure πŸ‘πŸ‘
Saw oil coming out of the lifters but not much out of the rocker assembly πŸ€”

Re: Ballast resistor

Thanks for the reply πŸ‘ I have found out that the resistor wire in my wiring gives 9v at the coil, I'm hoping to use that instead of the ballast resistor supplied to me. Only Problem is that I can not find out whether or not 9v to the Mallory 12v coil is ok. Would wiring in the new resistor along wit...

Ballast resistor

I've got a Mallory distributer for my rv8 and been supplied with a coil and ballast resistor, question is - my Capri already has a ballast resistor in the loom, do I just wire the new resistor in or do I need to remove the thick resistor wire in the loom first? Would having both resistors affect dec...

I regularly turn it over by hand so no problem there, I'm sure all the assembly lube has dripped into the sump by now. Question is any recommendations for firs...

Renault 5 oil filters are the shortest I've ever seen, don't know if they flow enough though.
