I may have a prop.

One end is a clamped Universal Joint, pretty sure the other is splined.

Will hopefully be over at my storage unit tomorrow and will check.

They're heavy things for shipping and I up in Edinburgh

The connectors are positioned like a the letter T the connector which is the top bar is connected to the negative of the coil and the other is connected to the positive of the coil.

I do have a ballast resisitor probably the only bit I have not changed.

I have a MAllory Distributor, twin points etc

Bought a coilf from Rimmer Brothers told them I had a Mallory distributor and they sent me a lovely shiny coil that cost about £60.

Got new coil, leads, dist cap, points, condensor and plugs already still doing the problem.

Fuel filter clear, fuel coming through ok by the looks of it, tried 2 different elec pumps both new

Running like a bag of Spanners

I have a Rover v8 with holley Carb and distributor with points in my stag. Was running ok last month when I went out for a short run round the block. Jumped in the car last night and she fired up no probs drove down to the petrol station about a mile away, filled up and she fired up again no problem...

Offenhauser inlet manifold

I have replaced the old rover manifold and SU's on my engine with a Offenhauser manifold and Edelbrock carb. I went to put temp sender on to manifold to discover the whole in the manifols (approx 18mm diameter) is to big for the sender I have. Does any body know whatt thread size would be on the man...
