There are two options for saving an MSQ, 'save' and 'save as' Save updates the current loaded MSQ file, save as creates a new one. That will be named with date and time (unless you change the name) and be saved in the same place as other MSQ files for your project. You'll be able to see all availab...

If the O2 sensors ain't linked to the MS, it won't be running closed loop, so unless you've altered things manually, TS shouldn't be showing any differences, if you're certain you've loaded the correct MSQ file to TS. Might be worth posting a screenshot of the difference report. Ill give it a try D...

Hi, email me the msq file and a datalog of it idling and I will take a look (phil(at)extraefi.co.uk) I suspect the ITBs though, in my experience of them they tend to leak, have you balanced them all and set them up using a flow meter? If so then are they still balanced? thanks Phil Thanks for the a...

Thanks for the replies..... Ill check some of the things mentioned tomorrow. Just had a horrible thought though, When it got started up (firing on 6?) it was a rush job having to get it on a transporter, so it was driven up on 6, when it got to its destination it was unloaded on 6 and the same comin...

Cold oil pressure on idle (700rpm) is around 28 dropping to 25 aprox warm, i'm guessing there isnt anything wrong there, The first oil which went in was the new (expensive :-() Millers 10-50 Nanodrive i ended up changing it last week to Valvoline VR1 20w50, tbh there isnt any diference re: oil press...

The noise is there cold or warm, The cam is hydraulic.
V8D have suggested taking the car down to them for a listen, suppose that’s the best plan, its hard to know where the noise is coming from but i would guess somewhere from the front in the valley. as mentioned its only at idle :(

Ive just listned to the vid on the laptop and it doesnt pick the noise up as good as on the PC, If you listen above the normal clatter? you can pick the noise up.
If it was a loose lifter will it be safe to do a bit of gentle mapping?
