anyone got any know on putting ford racing rocker covers on bog standard ford falcon au xr8's do they fit???? under the inkate that is and is the oil filler in the same place? from the pics ive seen im after the red and black ones and i cant see a hole for an oil fille,r and maybe one on some of the...

found since its not a tickford motor but is a windsor not sure which yet cant trace anything yet all descriptions say is overhead valve pushrod v8 but not what model ill find it one day

im in brisvegas mate i thought it was a windsor its the normal motor and not the tickford enhanced version (bigger throttle body etc) ive heard stories on the transmissions failing is this an oil cooling issue i noticed that the cooler was tiny also it has a bit of a ticking noise ive also heard tha...

yeah fairly popular all the ambo's had clevos and they all got swapped over for diesels i think so there is a heap around

the clevo is a wide block hey?
mine doesnt look that wide making me think its a windsor

having relocated myself to australia ive just about got my hands on a 1995 ford falcon xg ute looks like an 80's cortina i reckon its got the 4litre mpi inline engine my question is what involed in converting this to a ford or chev small block v8 im guessing get a ford 302 v8 or simalar with autobox...

just got myself a couple off ebay these are the dual timing ones for petrol and lpg i dont use lpg so is it possible to wire it in and use it anyway??? i got the instructions with it but its all mostly about wiring for lpg could i wrap up and secure the lpg loom from it and use the black and red wir...

nope im still not sorted

but that sounds about right for mine also as it started when i went over speed bumps then became permenent

might have to whip my loom off next and unwrap it all reparing as i go

on another note when i dropped the oil yesterday it poured out like id stuck in a load of paint thinners and wasnt contaminated like it would be with water

definatly fuel this could have leaked past the rings who knows
