I hate to drag this thread back onto topic :P but on the subject of master and slave cylinders, and saving weight then I suggest you look at something like a new ford transit style that has plastic units that weigh sod all! A decent saving over even the ali cylinders, Not expensive in the aftermarke...

An M238 might rev to 7000 but peak hp will come in way before that. I do have for sale at the moment a new Crower 50305 that is similar to an M256, it's got something like 256 @ .050 on the inlet and 260 @ .050 on ex. lift is in the .530-540 region. A lumpy cam I admit but it would get the power up ...

Agree with steve greens engine, revved like a bike engine. Two amazing sounding current ones are the blown big blocks in that light green marina van that races in pro comp I think and that nutty black blown big block mk2 escort. Most big blocks with a long cam and open headers sound amazing at idle ...

Most colleges do evening courses one or two nights a week. The one I did many years ago covered oxy, arc and mig. Welding something like a full tube chassis will take practice welding in akward positions. Welding small pieces sitting at a table is relatively easy to learn to a decent level, welding ...

Awesome Ultima

I had a look around the factory and got taken for a spin in the factory demonstrator today, a 530hp 950kg GTR. Build quality and quality of components used all round in these cars was very impressive. Performance, grip, braking were all incredible, I want one. :D

1.75" primaries will support a 600hp small block chevy. You will lose torque if you go that way. 1.5" would be fine for your engine, 1.625" would work ok, but still plenty big enough for your combo on paper.
