Try opening the plug gaps some more.. EDIS will run with 1mm with no problems, in fact Ford recommend 0.75mm to 1.00mm

I've had a look for a 4.6 spark map and I don't seem to have 1. 5.2 eals, 4.2 RV8 and a 4.5 eals but no 4.6 RV8.

Coops try these settings. These are what are used in my Rangie and have sorted out the heat soak issues. It's a N/A injected 3.9 RV8 but if you put the motor in a muddy hole ticking over for any length of time the heat under the bonnet is quite high with headman headers and these settings have meant...

Just a little up date.. The chaps and I have been a little busy with the disc cutter, bender and mig. It's a two seater now as the X brace with the 3rd winch mounted on it takes up the rear seat room.
