Re: TA / Wildcat heads
I bought those coils over 10 year's ago. And i think they cost all eight approx 350€ ~ 300£. They are aprox twice vs vag coil bag 10 years ago.. Yes they are maybe overkill. But after that never had any issues of emission at MOT. HC is slightly over 200ppm without any adjustment. And have Kent M256 ...

Re: Porous head?
She's running. I add Bars Leak original to cooling system and 2x running cycle cold to hot will eliminate leak. It will leak approx no more than 1ml of coolant only when hits operating temperature ~82c. And allways stop after that. Now i flush the system and start again without leak. I hope there is...

Re: Car just finished mapping at Lloyds specialist developments
I just finished my friend 3.9 engine. Home ported std heads wirh std size valves. Bigger valves is waste of flow.
10.6cr.
Kent M226 camshaft
Ported intake with 45mm home made trumpets.
Home made 38mm exhaust manififolds.
Megasquirt 3x with wasted spark.
It will make 260hp/361Nm @ flywheel.

Re: which heads
Go for 4.6 heads. Exhaust port is bigger near valve guide vs old style heads.. Also you get more compression ratio.. You can also port those 4.6 heads.

Re: Rover V8 cylinder head porting advice.
If you are using 41.5mm inlet. Throat should be +37mm. But std valve seat will limit it to approx +36mm. If you are replacing seats. Dont go over 43mm inlet valve, because bigger wont help. It will resist flow to mutch. New seat is way to go if you want more power. Maybe some 42-42.5mm valve and new...

Re: 0-60
My 418hp SD1 run 7 years old road tyres witch are like stones. 2.7s/60ft and 112mph 13.9s 1/4 mile. 6.4s to 0-82.5mph. It will weight with driver and full tank 1700kg. So 0-60mph would be under 5s. G-tech say 4.6s.. My 2800kg Range Rover sport 4.2SC make 0-71.2mph just in 6.4s. 1/4mile 15.3s and 92....

And they wont eaven response when i send pick of valve seat hole problem.. quite poor.. Also if we compare OE heads. OE ca...
