The MGB needs a name!!

Post by mgbv8 »

As I'm getting close to the magical flat 10 second pass or better. I think the MGB needs a proper race name. When I find a name I like I'm going to have it slapped on the sides of the car in vinyl graphics.

Any suggestions chaps????

I saw you dragging the car accross Milton Keynes last night. It seems to have gained a hoody on the bonnet.

Like it. And for the graphics, get a silhouette of Stephenson's Rocket which is instantly recognisable.

haha classic 'the 1/4 pounder' is wicked.

on that note ive chosen 'one gallon tank' for my plastic beast.

it was the plastic tank being a plastic boat that clutters the driveway but now with the 4.6ltr (approx 1 gallon) she has been renamed!

I have also been advised that I should have a pic of the old steam engine on the side of the car. But the writing should read "Stephensons Racket" :)

I've just been in the garage again with my Son who is earning some 2010 runs in the car by moulding the new air intake on the bonnet.

I like listening to all sorts of music as well. So I'm thinking of bringing the MGB up to date by naming it "Scoop Dog" or "Scoop Doggy Dog" ?
