Twisted sanity controller

Hi, anybody know where I can download/get a copy of instuctions to fit a twisted sanity progressive controller. Thanks in advance.

Hi, is it the old type, got 3 dials on it, or the new one, ive got the old one,4 wires coming out of it :) rich

all ive got is a rough drawing of the wiring that someone did for me, BLACK is earthed, RED to the arming switch and from that to 12v supply and to both solenoids, BLUE goes to other side of soleniods and the WHITE goes to the throttle switch,, dont know if it helps :? rich

Ta very much,I have a Sniper kit on a 427 SBC, and its all or nothing, a real handfull. I have been offered this (free!!) so thought I'll give it a try.?? thanks again,Bill.

ive got a cheater system and used the controller,but nos solenoids dont like to be pulsed,the car ran horrible, nos was on and off all down the strip. it knocks them out pretty quick aswell,and they need rebuilds about every 20 uses or so, thats why ive gone 2 stage instead, but yours could be ok :) rich

If you have an analogue multimeter you can test the controller.

The wiring diagram Bones has is correct so it will do you.
Mind you, I was pissed when I drew it :lol:

Set your start power to minimum. Set you final power to 100% and set your build time to around 4 seconds.

Connect your meter to the output wire and earth. When you activate the controller you should see the voltage start to rise from low volts to 12volts steady after 4 seconds.

This will give you indication that it is actually pulsing.
If you are using the small powershot solenoids on your Sniper kit it will work. But as Bones say's. They dont like being pulsed and will wear quickly.
