axle tramping

Post by dave350v8 »

Hi Everyone

Im running a small block chevy in my capri with a 8.8 rear axle, ran it down the strip and had pretty bad tramping in first and second gear!

Do anti tramp bars like escort ones actually work? I was just looking for some feedback before I went that way.
I know caltracs are the way to go but looks a bit tricky to fab something up around the front leaf spring bush unless anyone has got any pics

Cheers Dave

Wow, 1.3 is amazing, think I will try what tony said first, then make some slappers if that don't cure it,
cheers
