Roll-Cage Fabricator In The Colchester Area?

Post by Nollywood »

Hello guys!

I'm building a DTM-inspired Audi A4 Quattro B5, running an Audi S8 motor (4,2 V8 2 x DOHC 32V). This is being mated to a 6-speed manual 01E.

Now the car's fully stripped, and at the point where a cage can be built in. Is there anyone in the Suffolk / Colchester area who would be interested in building my cage? Of course I'll purchase all the required tubing, and pay a fair wage.

Can anyone help with this? This car is still going to be road legal, though I'll be tracking her, and attending drag events within the UK and abroad.

Not that area, but my mate in Hillingdon (London area) is a top-notch fabricator. Now full-time, from wkshops in his garden (more workshop than garden now) and rates are half or less than normal hourly prices.
He's built several cages as well as full tube-chassis cars inc one destined for Pro Mod. Let me know if yr interested and I'll send some contact info.

Hey bud! Thread re-awakening!

I've now moved to the Hillingdon area, so will be giving your guy a call, so he can quote me on my car.

Thanks!

Try Nickson Motorsport, Fernhurst, Haslemere. They do a lot fo the drift boys, and quoted me a very good price for the MGB (compared to say, Custom Cages, it was very well priced)
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!
