Vernier pulley
I'm just getting my 3.9 ready, installing cam etc, had the cam machined to accept the retaining plate, all OK so far. Now the vernier pulley is fouling the retaining plate. This is not right at all.
Have I missed something or can I not use a vernier set with the cam retaining plate? Alternatively I could discard the plate and fit the Teflon button?
I'd appreciate any thoughts on this , cheers

I had this same problem,
the one I'm using is a kent one now from RPI (only ones who stoked it at the time)
will try and find you a part number
S29 is the only part number I can find now so looks like they only do the one pulley that fits the later engines but can be used on the earlier ones too,
I will try and find my box tomorrow in the garage to see the number on that but I think its S29

yes just checked the box S29 is the one I have,
few on ebay, RPI have them in stock too ,
also a few landrover sites have them google kent s29 pulley

Thanks for that 😊 I sadly sold Ruby about two weeks ago after about nine years, I'd have her back in a heartbeat. My creation, with a little help from longbridge haha. Yes looking very similar to yours. Great cars👍
