Fuel rails, injectors a good find

May be of interest to someone, and I'm sure it's been done before. The older manifolds had a tubular wrap around fuel rail and fitted the older lucas injectors. If you fancy upgrading to the later green bosch injectors, they will not fit in the wrap around fuel rail.

A fairly simply modification is to use the later square stainless fuel rails which fit the bosch injectors.

The modification requires you to simply saw off the strengthening bar at the rear of the fuel rail, and bend the tube so it clears the manifold. The tube is easy to manipulate as long as it's done slowly. You can then use t joint for fuel in, remove the Schrader valve and use that spur for fuel out. Obviously you will need to add a pressure regulator.

Finally (and I've not done this yet), you need to make 4 straight brackets with two holes in them to secure the rails down.
