Post by SpringV8 »

I have mounted a RC87 cam in my 3.5.
There are no data in the web expect it is a cam from Rovercraft.

Pretty sure it was quite mild all round really and I think Piper ground them ?

Well someone has to grind them. And back in those days....there was only Kent and Piper.

When I bought my last one some 20 years ago....I'm almost sure it came in a Piper box.

Thank you...

The RC87 will have 26/66 and the lift I measured with around 10.2mm inlet and 10.0mm exaust.

There would be much wilder cams out there - even when the engine were able to go up to 12mm lift and 6000rpm with Piper VTSV8 tripple valve springs and Federal Mogul steel rockers.

I will think about using Kent H218.

What do you think...?[/img]
