Shortest oil filter

What's the shortest oil filter that will fit a Rover V8. It is a P38 Range Rover engine that I am thinking about.

In the back of my memory, a Sierra Cosworth one is pretty short.

What Tony said ('-') I sat and spec'd a filter with Wix from their specifications online with a synthetic filter media

I will post up the part number when I am back at the shop

ooo that will be handy mate as I'm needing a new filter for mine and will give it a try.

I'm using an EFL90 on mine at the minute, it's around 90mm tall.

There are definitely shorter filters available

Some filter maker websites let you search by dimensions etc

Renault 5 oil filters are the shortest I've ever seen, don't know if they flow enough though.
steve
