Bosch Motronic

Post by ChrisJC »

Hi All,
Thinking about the Bosch Motronic 5.2.1 engine management system as fitted to the P38 Range Rover. Has it ever been made to run 'stand alone', i.e. without all the other clobber that is fitted to a P38?
Is there a handy plug-in 'immobiliser' ECU that makes it happy?
It's a widely used engine management system, so I am thinking it might have been done, albeit for a different vehicle.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris.

I have a MOTRONIC running stand alone using a module from Mark Adams. Works well and can be reverted back to "all the clobber" as well as it is in a spaceframe vehicle with full D2 wiring
