Hi all, any brake guru's care to help with a big problem I have in sourcing rear discs and calipers to fit to a Salisbury HA axle originaly fitted to a Jensen, thats going into a Rover p5b coupe as it has a 2.8:1 limited slip diff. As these original parts are formidably expensive I'm looking for alternative parts that may fit or may need a bit of modification.
As you can imagine trying to find parts amongst so much choice is bewildering but have seltled so far on Mondeo parts, any thoughts please.
Here's a few pics of the unit so far.

Home made hub puller removing the tapered joint.

If dimensions would be helpfull then its all available, just to help , stud pattern is 5 on 5 etc.
Thanks so far, Steve

You can enter the various disc parameters in the Brembo site and see what comes up.

Hi
I have a small collection of un used brae discs from jags, vectras, RRs and siera (i think)
If you post up PCDs and diaiters I can have a measure up and see if any are suitable.
Best regards
Mike

Works ok here. However, you have to enter the correct parameter - it won't give you the nearest.

Holes 5
Distance between hole centres 65mm = to 110.58 mm PCD
Locating hole diameter 85mm

You can also look up by make etc and see if those dimensions cross reference on the search back to that make and model. If not, it may be a browser problem. It works fine here with Firefox.

may be another option, see if you can find some Mk2 Jag hubs, same axle different ends, then fit the Jag flanges, then you have a stud pattern that has wheels far more easily available

If you do I have a pair of ventilated 300mm jag XK discs that will go straight on the studs.

What do these use for a handbrake?

You might also look at the Saab 900 and Vectra calipers (fronts) as they have the handbrake work on the froont wheels

Hi Ian
the XK uses a drum inside the disk arrangment like the vectra, these are front discs so would need a handbrake caliper like the willwood saab ones.
