Powder coat or 2-pack?

Just received a decent quote for blasting and painting/poweder coating a bunch of suspension parts etc. I was initially going to go for powder coating, but the guy recommended 2-pack (I think?) paint as he said it is more durable? Any thoughts on this?

I know powder coating is pretty soft, but good finish. To be fair I want whatever is going to last the longest, and prices are the same for either.

I would recommend 2 pack as well. You could use a zinc primer under it and it will last for years.

The soft powder coating is nylon coating and not what you want. Polyester powder coating is hard but the problem is that it has to be baked perfectly or it can be brittle and chip off easily.

Like katanaman says, 2 pack. Clean the bits really well and use a zinc/strontium chromate primer and 2 or even 3 coats for a really durable protection.
