With the early ones being Cortina based, I was able to use a 2.3 Cortina axle with the 3.09:1 Capri diff, so running gear fairly straightforward. Engine was a little tighter though...
TBH it's not all that impressive to look at - I've deliberately not bothered to go for a big chrome air filter, or 'dress up' the engine in any way. In fact I'm even sad enough to have painted the filter housing the same shade of grey as the original!
